Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
As a prospective CS major who has been programming since the age of ten, I expected to at least be able to skip Intro to C, especially considering their whole 'every student gets a unique education' ploy. Once I got past the worthless bitch secretary of the department, I was told that despite likely being able to teach the class better than the existing professors, that I would not be able to test out of the class, or any class really. They don't care about their student's actual education -- we are just numbers to them. Further, they are moneygrubbing fucks in absolutely everything from books to forms to parking. For only $120 you can park nearly a mile away from campus. Better not park closer or you'll get a $30 parking ticket from the crack ticket squad. I wish those guys taught classes, they're alot more passionate than some of our professors. Anyway, I've been sitting in on an Advanced Operating Systems class this semester, a top tier grad class, while I still haven't taken Intro to C or any other CS classes, and I find myself largely bored. UNF CS is a joke, the faculty are pricks, parking is a nightmare, and you are a number. The student body is alright, some classes are nice, but in general: avoid.
