Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
I transfered from a semester system school and really loved the quarter system. Classes are longer, but you take less hours typically. You also can potentially complete more of your required classes in a year because of the class turn-around time. I enjoyed Tech. Social life can be a drag if you don't get involved, which I did. Ruston is small but growing. Faculty were, for the most part, very friendly and glad to help. I think most Southern (smaller) Univesities would be like this. I would go back to Tech. I was hired before I graduated for a great company in Louisiana and I was told it was my choice of attending LA Tech that influenced my manager to interview me in the first place. So Tech got me in the door, then I had to seal the deal.
