Date: Nov 12 2005
Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Stanford University.Vibrant Californian campus combined with the rigor, prestige and enjoyment of a top Ivy-League education in the laid-back californian attitude. I came from a very prestigious high school from the east coast expecting something somewhat different from my high school whose enviornment was very competitive and advanced. However, I did not get what I was looking for. Not only are so many students there the overachieving types who are suddenly like; "hey, I'm in stanford my life is set let's blow off college!" Then there are those types who are like "i gotta get into med school, I will bug and annoy my professors, backstab and cajole my friends into improving my grades, get into med school THEN my life will be set." The education is alright, its pretty average considering my major. I have lots of science/math classes where the teaching is competent but just average in terms of professor's enthusiasm towards teaching. These profs probably are sick and tired of those premed and prelaw bums screaming whenever they get a B or C. I'd seriously would have gone to a state school, there at least I could be paying much less.
