He rated most things higher than other students did.
Date: Dec 31 1969 Major: (This Major's Salary over time) UCD is a good school for people already familiar with the valley. The trash from outside the district are the ones who screw everything up, including the town. If you want to drink and whore yourself, then go somewhere else. The academic departments are all good, but the main problem is finding a good prof. who will teach a subject objectively and not use it to his own interests. The townspeople are nice enough considering they get no respect from the UC administrators and the students make life there a bit unbearable. The biggest problem with UCD is that the class of students who attend are quite low academically, and maturity wise. They are not interested in education, but are interested in partying, screaming about meaningless politics, and undermining every good program meant to help people at UCD. There is a lot of crime directed at the students from outside campuses and visitors in terms of theft, armed robbery, rape, and other violent acts that are not widely reported because it would tarnish the UC image. If you don't know the valley, then stay the hell out. Go to a school close to where you are in which you will be safe and familiar with what is going on. College isn't about running away from your parents to just find out somewhere else that you're a failure.
