UVA offers wonderful opportunities to receive a complete education. If you are considering a hard science or engineering, UVA not only provides excellent faculty and facilities in your major, but many opportunities to broaden your exposure to fields outside of your major - especially in the liberal arts. Take advantage of these opportunities as they are a true selling point and strength of the school. For high school students seeking admittance: concentrate on grades and SAT, obviously, but also demonstrate enthusiasm and drive through your essays. Great luck to all those who are applying. Wahoowa!
