Stockton has a great history department and I have really enjoyed the classes thus far. I'm also working towards an elementary education certification but right now I am unsure if I want to continue at Stockton after I graduate because the Educ. Program is "sketchy" as some have put it. If you want to go through Stockton's program I suggest having both a preceptor (advisor) in your major and try to get one with the education department otherwise you might end up spending another year or so longer than you may want. They changed the prerequisites this year (2003-2004) making it a bit more difficult for those already trying to complete the prerequisites, so as I have said, make sure you talk to the Educ. Dept. often.
