Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Overall, as with most experiences...SU is what you make of it. I knew kids that would get really depressed from the freezing, grey, snowy weather and sit in their dorm rooms playing video games all day. Of course these students hated SU. But I was able to surround myself with motivated people, like myself, that took advantage of all the great opportunities. There are excellent speakers that come every semester, really amazing multicultural events, free midnight movies on campus on the weekends, and lots of clubs and organizations that do so much. My major was actually international relations, which is phenomenal at SU. I studied abroad twice and am spending my last semester doing the Washington DC internship program, which is fabulous. So yeah the weather is pretty awful a lot of the time and Syracuse as a city is economically struggling and crime-ridden in parts...but you can still meet awesome people and have so much fun. I have learned so much and have no regrets...and I encourage STUDY ABROAD because Syracuse has amazing programs.
