Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Academically, UAB is a good school. This is especially true if you're interested in the medical field. We have a world-class medical school and a great program in Biomedical Engineering. And from my own experience, the University Honors Program is incredible. Socially, it can be difficult (but not impossible!) to get involved in student groups, especially if you live off-campus. UAB is largely a commuter school, BUT it is rapidly becoming much more traditional. In fact, several new residence halls were recently built. I got really involved my freshman year and have been that way ever since (and I live off-campus).
