Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Bowdoin is a neat mix of intelligence, and energy that somehow avoids the pitfalls of PC dogmatism that one would expect of a left-leaning, New England college. It's a school that has changed drastically over the past 10 years and is without at doubt better for it. The students are not only smart, but full of different experiences and let those experiences have some bearing on the texts they read and their interpretations of those texts. It makes for interesting discussions to say the least. I'd also say that the college is steeped in prestigious history, and there's a sense that each of us is somehow beholden it. Bowdoin's a great college, academically on par with the best big names, and socially divested of competition that seems to tarnish the academic experience elsewhere.
