They accept everything that is alive, there is no challenge to get in...You just have to have a gpa of 2.0 or higher

I had fairly goodAug 30 2017Other
I had fairly good grades so I wasn't worried whatsoever about being accepted. Orientation and the welcoming process in general just feels like they're milking you and your family for your money... and they are.

Getting in is not difficult unless you're on aSep 11 2016Perfomance Arts
Getting in is not difficult unless you're on a pre-med track.
If you're applying/auditioning for VCUarts, however, it's going to be a lot more competitive. Basically just maintain decent grades in high school and work hard at your craft and you're in.
Female
Get above average SATNov 17 2015Perfomance Arts
Get above average SAT. Decent GPA. Come for a visit. Be prepared if you are auditioning, make sure you are memorized and have a decent understanding of piano skills/ music theory if you are auditioning for music. For theatre, be sure you have audition experience, are well rounded (as much voice/dance lessons as you can--- not 100% necessary, but an easy way to score points). Overall for auditions, stay calm, collected, flexible and confident.

Not hard to get inAug 26 2014Biology
Not hard to get in. Have an ACT score of 22 or SAT score of 1030. Sometimes lower exceptions are made because of GPA. I came in with a 3.8 GPA from community college. The minimum GPA is 2.0-2.5 and there is a good chance you'll get in. But like I said earlier, many will come here but most will not graduate in 4-6 years. It's simply the truth
