I took the SAT and ACT and got averageApr 27 2011Business - Management and Administration
I took the SAT and ACT and got average scores, I applied of course and easily got in. As long as you did okay in high school then you get in. It seems that they're are a lot of freshmen here that probably didn't do very well before they got here and they got in, so I think it's just a matter of whether you passed in high school. As for the older students who go here, there are a few so you won't be alone. I think that there are more older students/nontraditional students here than at a normal university.
ACT: 24 SAT: 1630 Female
I came here to run Track and Cross CountryMar 29 2011Geography and Geosciences
I came here to run Track and Cross Country so that really got me in. It hasn't been very hard to get in Charlotte academically but the university is growing rapidly so it is becoming harder every year. Work hard at whatever you do.

It's very easy to get into UNC Charlotte, butMar 28 2011Psychology
It's very easy to get into UNC Charlotte, but once you get in, work hard to get into the programs you want to be involved with. Within some of these programs (i.e. honors), you can have priority class registration, as well as develop close relationships with faculty and staff within your department.
SAT: 2040 Female
I took the SAT and had it sent to UNCCFeb 17 2011Communications
I took the SAT and had it sent to UNCC. I applied and got a welcome letter a few weeks later.

UNCC is a state school. If your score and gpa meets requirement your pretty much in. There are no interviews etc. I would recommend that they be slightly higher than minimum if you want to definitely get in though, but I've never heard of someone not getting that has met the minimums.
