It's very easy to get into UNC Charlotte, but once you get in, work hard to get into the programs you want to be involved with. Within some of these programs (i.e. honors), you can have priority class registration, as well as develop close relationships with faculty and staff within your department.

I took the SAT and had it sent to UNCC. I applied and got a welcome letter a few weeks later.

UNCC is a state school. If your score and gpa meets requirement your pretty much in. There are no interviews etc. I would recommend that they be slightly higher than minimum if you want to definitely get in though, but I've never heard of someone not getting that has met the minimums.

I was looking for a very good program with top notch facilities, potential employers, gym, a little bit of city life, creativeness, things to keep me busy on-campus, opportunities for internship/coop etc. I had admission from other schools too. However, I preferred UNCC and I am glad I made the decision I did. Not to mention, Carolina Panthers are in town too.

Apply early and you should have no issue gettingSep 03 2010Education
Apply early and you should have no issue getting in if you have done fairly well in high school and have at least an 1100 on the SAT. It isn't very difficult to get in, but there are typically a very large amount of students who apply each year so apply early to make sure that you get a spot.
