I honestly just ended up hereMay 27 2019Computer Science
I honestly just ended up here. Part of the UC leftovers party that had good grades but not good enough. 1550 SAT, 4.3 GPA, etc. High school stats mean nothing here obviously. Aim for the moon but hit a bird.
SAT: 1550 Male
Don't make the mistake of coming to this schoolFeb 22 2017Biology
Don't make the mistake of coming to this school. UCSD does not care about its student body in the slightest.
ACT: 29 SAT: 2060 Male
Just get a good SAT grade I guessSep 22 2016Biology
SAT: 1920 Female
I will be brutally honest but the University ofDec 29 2015Math
I will be brutally honest but the University of California admissions are number-based, despite what you may hear from people to the internet. The higher the SAT/ACT and the GPA you obtain, the more likely you will get admitted.

For the admitted class of 2019 it's the following:

4.13 UC GPA (74% with a 4.0+ UC GPA)
30 ACT
2040 SAT

That's the average folks. If you valued extracurricular activities more, I would suggest a private school out-of-state since you would fit at that kind of vibe. If you got denied to UCSD, consider the other UCs and CSUs you got admitted to, if you seriously are butthurt about going to another school I would suggest to NOT go to college at all; being open-minded is one of the key factors to succeed in college.

3.9 GPA. study, study, studyFeb 11 2015Electrical Engineering
3.9 GPA. study, study, study. Once at UCSD count on mediocre professors. 60% ece/cse hired to promote school $$$ via resume/research. gl. you are 97.5% likely to be let down.
