I kept a high GPA and had TONS of extra-cirriculars (orchestra, theater, multiple clubs, a part-time job, worked assisting a teacher, etc.). That plus a good SAT score and a damn good essay will get you in, just like it did me. Don't freak out. I got a 96% scholarship for my freshman year.

Low selectivityDec 20 2005Pharmacy
Low selectivity. I was disappointed that they did not even ask for an essay or extracurriculars. I recommend that you take it easy in high school, because they do not recognize exceptional students - they give scholarships to everyone, especially to students from low income families.

EASY TO GET IN
Just get a 1350 on your SATs and have a GPA above a 95 and apply in December and you'll get a full tuition ride--I wish I did that.
Write a nice essay, suck up to the school's values, have 1 or 2 extra-curricular activities + the grades I told you and you're set. Apply for FAFSA along with this and you could probably get away moneywise real easily, ESPECIALLY if you're in-state.
