Pratt Institute

PIM says:
Pratt is looking for students with a passion for and commitment to art, design, architecture or writing as demonstrated primarily through portfolio. Portfolios should show your range of interests, your best work, and can include sketchbooks to show what you do outside of class. Pratt also looks at grades and SAT scores.

I had a very strong fine arts portfolio ofJul 27 2017Fine Arts - Painting/Sculpture/Photography/etc
I had a very strong fine arts portfolio of works I had created in the past two years. I included a mix of paintings (I enrolled as a painting major), drawings, and sculptures that I submitted through slideroom. Some projects were done in my high school art classes.
Most of my work is abstract so it was very important for me to write about every piece in slideroom. Take that opportunity to show them you have a concept or that you are deeper. Mine was pretty casual, so you don't need to worry about sounding super smart. Send it in as soon as you can. I found out very quickly that I was accepted.

Faculties in this school are not friendlyAug 04 2016English
Faculties in this school are not friendly. Some teachers are selfish and their teaching styles are very unhelpful.High tution fee doesn't fit their education quality. Don't go here if you don't have enough money. OIA is great but faculties are horrible.
