Students should go on a campus visit and talkJan 19 2015Nursing
Students should go on a campus visit and talk with coaches or professors. This really helped me in deciding. Stay on the ball with sending in your official documents and application and enrollment fees. The sooner you give your deposit and fill out FAFSA, the sooner you have your preference of campus housing and get your enrollment on lockdown.
ACT: 23 Female
I was very proactive about getting into my collegeJan 19 2015Athletics/Training
I was very proactive about getting into my college. I applied and visited the school pretty early on. Then I came and visited again for purple and gold days, where I could meet with advisors, professor, coaches, and meet students I would be attending school with. I stayed the night to see what a weekend in college would be like. I got to see what Bourbonnais was like as well as go hang out in Chicago. I had a list of questions to ask students and advisors. Then I also looked up facebook and twitter pages to see what the current students at the school thought about their experience.
ACT: 25 SAT: 1700 Female
Take the ACTJan 16 2015Communications
take the ACT. keep a good GPA. Apply early; the application is free and they accept students as the applications come in.
ACT: 27 Male
The application process was the simplest of any schoolJan 16 2015Religion/Religious
The application process was the simplest of any school I applied to. There was no fee, and no essays. I completed the application in ten minutes and because it was a rolling admission I heard back within just a few weeks. The admissions office was GREAT to work with!
ACT: 29 Male
Coming in is very straightforwardJan 15 2015Education
Coming in is very straightforward. The application is very short and online. You send in transcripts/test scores and BAM, you're in. If cost is a problem, ADVOCATE for yourself. Olivet's counselors WANT to help.
ACT: 29 Female
