I applied really late to MSU and that probably was the reason I got deferred till 2nd semester, I don't recommend doing that haha. Community College honestly wasn't the worst, it taught me how to study and do school work, something I wasn't great at in high school. So if you want to get in, apply early and have at least a 3.0 GPA and a 24 on your ACT with some extracurricular and you should be good for at least a 2nd semester admission.

Do many extracurriculars. Grades and test scores are the major key points to getting in. You'll likely need a 3.5+ gpa, and 25+ act (idk what that converts to sat score). Write a good essay and take your time on it.
