It's easy - Iona wants your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, that's why they hire - mostly Adjunts. Adjunts save $$$$$$$$$$$$.
When you put quantity above quality - it's a short-term fix, but the students, paying suffer short-term and long-term. Do Homework and R&R = Research, Research on Iona College. Don't spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to attend Iona College, when your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ could be better spent at another University - that offers "outstanding rated academic and social student support services. Best of luck with your college searches.

If you have money, you can get into Iona CollegeAug 01 2016Unknown
If you have money, you can get into Iona College. Iona is mismanaged, high-turnover, and Iona just doesn't offer a quality college life environment. Iona wants your money. Iona is lacking in Academic Support Services. Like posters have written - do homework - it's your hard-earned money or your parents, -get your value for it. At the end of the day or 4 years of college, you will be the one with the student loan debt, and Iona wont' be there to help you.

Pick up Money Magazine, August 2016, and read theJul 17 2016Undecided
Pick up Money Magazine, August 2016, and read the article - How to Find a Top-Value College. Iona wasn't on the list for Top-Value, Affordability. I realized that while attending, that Iona College lacks a well-structured academic learning environment, and Iona is just not worth $50,000 to live on campus. Read the articles, ask detailed questions if you go on tours, spend days in classes, visit the career development office, and ask for hiring/job details or graduates, and inquire about salaries earned, also ask about internships in all MAJORS.

It's easy to get into Iona College. Iona accepts 93 percent of applicants, like many posters commented on.

It's not hard to get into Iona - studentsJan 21 2015Undecided
It's not hard to get into Iona - students go there if they receive a lot of money, or if they don't get into higher ranked schools - some go, because they can commute there. I just know a lot leave because they were told information when they were touring, and when they enrolled, it didn't meet their academic, personal, social, or career needs.

Think hundred times befor you go there, and don't go to Iona, unless you spend a day in classes, in your field of study, ask for data where the graduates are working, where the internships, how many get employed?

Not much - it's easy to get into -Nov 20 2014Other
Not much - it's easy to get into - Iona needs and wants your money, and a lot of it. Iona promises students the world, to get you in, and doesn't live up to their promises. I was let down. Their Academic Resource Center is lacking experience tutors and specialists in higher level courses, and it's so lax - how it functions. The Career Development Department is short staffed - to assist students in this market.

Iona has a nice cover, but the book needs a lot of work and editing. I'm displeased.
