Initially i wasn't sure i wanted to go to Brown when i applied, therefore i presented myself completely honestly on my application. I had very diverse classes in high school, ranging from Psychology, to Art, to Physics. I did sports in High School, and dance outside of school. My SAT's were good but not amazing 1440, and my GPA was around a 3.5 (unweighted), my school had the IB program as well. Basically, in my application i wasn't trying to impress anyone; i was just myself. Individuality is important, but trying too hard is obvious to those reading your application. Also try to write your admissions essays about something that isn't the typical topic (don't get ideas from books, or if you do try to avoid the topics you see there).
