Choosing a career and major
 

For now, we have some informative charts to help you know a little bit about the various jobs, the majors, and about how much they are worth.


  • Job Salaries - Highest and lowest paying jobs. A reasonably comprehensive list of current jobs, and their average salaries. Provided by the US. Dept of Labor.

  • Salary by Major - From our survey data, we have created a table showing the average current and starting salary that each major has earned. This information is highly affected by number years since graduation, market conditions, etc.

  • Job Satisfaction by Major - We have created a table showing the job/life satisfaction percentages of people who graduated in each major.

  • Unemployment by Major - The % rates of unemployment for people graduating with any given major.

  • Still in Field by Major - The % rates of people who are still in their field & major after graduation.

  • Descriptions of Majors - A list of majors, each containing a detailed description of what you learn, what the fellow students are like, and what kinds of jobs you generally get with it.
