(cont.) I ran into some UH Law students in Switzeland canyoning. They were distant and offered to buy drink with a canyoning instructor that kept yelling at me for no reason. The local Swiss complained about racism against tourists. I heard a Baylor guy got into a fight with the locals. The Lugano school advised us to carry 20 Francs with us at all times for the cops, no 5th amendment rights. They told us a student was placed in jail for 45 days for talking back to a cop and fined $2000.

Question
I felt some racism too.AveragePhysics
I felt some racism too. When I say something positive about Americans, people just thought I was bashing only hearing the word "Americans". I have been to several universities and colleges and feel the grading least accurate at UH. But at UT Austin, a preacher (looked like a prof in the student square)told me to go back to my country as I walked. Hey, my family goes to the annual A&M presidential ball for a reason. I have seen a 9 feet NAZI flag inside a UT condo. And a Confederate flag outside a UT condo. Recently, the new Jewish center at UT was vandalized, badly enough to put on the television news for concern. So racism isn't unique for UH. UT's science building is named after a controversial prof. And many other stories I can talk about other Universities. Some universities have more or less racism, but its there. This isn't a great age range.

Question
Premeds, look away! A 4.Quite BrightPreMed and Medical
Premeds, look away! A 4.0 GPA from UH won't make any medical school desire you. The school has a very low reputation even though some programs are strong. But come on! Do you think med schools check if such or such program is good or not? They don't care! They hear UH and they expect 4.0 and much more! Yes, UH gives you full scholarships, but do you really want to put your future in jeopardy? Think twice before you even think about applying here. That's what I should have done.
