Going to UH was one of the best decisions I've made in my life. It was a wonderful experience. I received a great education.

Question
Profs and admins are terrible here.Quite BrightMechanical Engineering
Profs and admins are terrible here. I haven't heard or seen anything worse compare to other universities. My advice to you prospective students is not to consider uh. You will waste your time here and develop un-necessary stress. Read the other reviews. This is NOT a university you would want to attend. STAY AWAY!!!!! Before its too late and you will be writing this negative review. For you ME students, watch out for Hollingsworth. He is arrogant and can't teach anything useful in the workforce. I don't know what he is so arrogant about. A Ph.D. graduate from Stanford, and yet, joins the rest of us losers at uh. Good job Hollingsworth. Maybe, Stanford thinks you are a loser too and label you as a reject. Better remove your Stanford name.

I lovingly refer to this godawful "institution" as Satan's A-hole University, it really is like entering the depths of hell.

I posted the previous review and would like to add that I am truly, deeply afraid that my hard work and money thrown at this pit of despair will not result in a job at the end.

After reading all of these reviews about how much of a joke UH looks on a transcript, I wish I would've known about this site earlier and NEVER attended the university. I'm halfway through my studies and can't afford to start over or relocate. It is quite depressing when you have to worry about your future job security when you haven't even graduated yet.

I didn't go to college to work at some damn Mc Donald's but apparently that's where most UH graduates end up.

So sad. So unnecessary for the amount of money we pay and the amount of bull we put up with. I thought that I would at least be rewarded in the end but I'll probably just be screwed again.

I imagine when they hand out diplomas they hand you a mop and bucket to start out your fancy new career as a custodial engineer. I guess you can use the diploma to start a fire in the rubbish bin near the overpass you'll be residing under for the rest of your life.
