Positive Negative Neutral Advice
If you're going here for the Spanish program,BrightLanguage - French/Spanish/etc.
If you're going here for the Spanish program, you'll definitely have a positive experience. The professors and TAs always seem to make time for you; I think it has something to do with their culture. The Italian department is the same way. Any negative experiences I've had with professors have been outside of the Spanish and Italian departments (it's usually been the insanely prescriptive English professors in my case).

Question
While my initial shock of UH was theBrightBiology
While my initial shock of UH was the rigor of the coursework for a BS Biology major, it was ultimately valuable in the workplace. I would've liked more variety in areas of specialization for bio majors. Curriculum was very regimented and this made the major exhaustive to the point where I didn't enjoy it towards the end. Some professors & TAs did not speak English as their native language which made the learning process harder than normal. Bio Labs were clearly outdated....not sure if this has changed.

Question
I went to UT my first year ofQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
I went to UT my first year of college and decided that Austin wasn't for me and that the school was way to hyped up. I transferred to U of H and it was the best decision of my life. They really do prepare you for college and it's a pretty good college experience. We do a lot of networking which is great for in the future when you're trying to find a job. The people are really nice and helpful. Just because it's U of H doesn't mean it's an easy school, you still have to pay attention and go to class. Each professor is great and try to help you with as much as they can. This is definitely a college that people should research more so that they know that it's a great college to go to.
