Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I, as many others in the university amQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
I, as many others in the university am not from USA. It is an incredibly diverse university with incredible opportunities. The fact that we are in such successful city, gives the University many opportunities to provide immediate feedback of what they are doing and high employment rate.

The University is in a "ghetto" surrounding area, but within itself is not that bad. A few things happen here and there but they are very good about addressing the issue and keeping everybody informed about what is going on.

The price is not bad at all for a tier one University. Though the administration offices do have a bit of a mess going on. Being such large University It is understandable--about 40,000 people!

The business school is GREAT! Both sales and entrepreneurship program are without a doubt TOP NOTCH and almost unbeatable. People are very friendly in general. If you want a big university environment and everybody to leave near campus, this is not quite your place but every other aspect is top notch in my opinion.

Question
The people that are saying the school isQuite BrightPreVet and Veterinary
The people that are saying the school is "ghetto and full of foreigners" are obviously just racist. Yeah the school isn't like A&M where the majority of student are white but it's also not like TSU where the majority of student are scary ghetto. It's like the city of Houston, a hodgepodge of different ethnicities and cultures, which is one of the reason why I chose to go here and not to A&M...I'm also not a racist, so if you have bias against individuals with a different skin color you aren't welcome at UH, save it for A&M it's already full of redneck racists.

The school was actually given a better overall rating bu the Princeton Review this year than A&M, so the notion that the school is crappy is false. YES, the science department does need A LOT of work done on it however since we are now a Tier One school that particular department will receive more money and have a chance to better it's standards of BOTH professors and students.

The financial aid department is the same as any other college (4 OR 2 year)...a pain in the ass. It's obvious the people working there are angry that they didn't have a chance to further their education and take it out on the students....but like I said that's at every other university, it's not special at UH.I'm proud to go to UH. The campus is beautiful, there are many relevant organizations and clubs on campus, and there are always free events going on. If you don't want the "city college" experience then don't go here! I personally like the fact that the school is based in a large city but to each his own. Yes the honors college is great and I personally have taken quite a few classes there but there's NOTHING wrong with the "regular" school. Like I said before, were Tier One now and were given a better rating than A&M....Things are only going up from here :)

Question
Do not come toQuite BrightFinance
Do not come to this school. This is a school full of ghetto people, and foreigners. The school is ranked very low and is a low-quality education. The school is ugly, no one lives on campus, there's no "college experience" here. As far as classes go, it's just busy work constantly.
