Although to the school I am just a student, in my major I get a lot of attention and it is easy to get help and guidance. The hardest part of Tech to deal with is having a life. The school and the students are great, but it is hard to find things to do in the city.

I came from a college up north and when I came to tech, my freshman level classes up north were junior level classes here. That speaks for itself. It's a fun place though!

Very good school just in the most boring piece of dirt town in Texas. Lubbock is so stupid they even made it a dry city so you have drive 15 miles to get alcohol just to have any fun. Could you imagine the revenue the fools would make off taxes in a huge party school environment if they simply allowed the sale of alcohol?? The girls are the hottest in the nation however, and easy to meet because they are just as bored as you. The wind always blows hard and the dust is always in your ears and eyes, sometimes even your food.
