If you want aQuite BrightCivil Engineering
If you want a great time to find your true self, and get a good degree, then go to Tech. But only if you are independant and can be social along with good study habits. If you go to party you will have to much fun because there is a party at every corner, every night.

Very good school just in the most boring piece of dirt town in Texas. Lubbock is so stupid they even made it a dry city so you have drive 15 miles to get alcohol just to have any fun. Could you imagine the revenue the fools would make off taxes in a huge party school environment if they simply allowed the sale of alcohol?? The girls are the hottest in the nation however, and easy to meet because they are just as bored as you. The wind always blows hard and the dust is always in your ears and eyes, sometimes even your food.

Question
Lubbock is one of the worst cities inQuite BrightEnglish
Lubbock is one of the worst cities in the United States. Although it has about 200,000 people, unfortunately, it still fosters the attitude of a very small, isolated village full of simpletons and rubes. The greeks own the social scene here, and it really sucks if you are not a part of the whole greek system. Most of the people in the city are rednecks, and their accents are very annoying, but at least they seem to be friendly on the most superficial of levels. The one bright spot here is the massive concentration of attractive females that this university seems to attract. With the exception of the Technical Writing program, the entire English department here is a joke. The English building is almost as dilapidated as the faculty who teach in it. The classes are ridiculously easy and workable, I've never learned anything useful, and my undergraduate degree is worthless unless I decide on going into teaching or something. Thank god I'm in medical school! This university is a perfect fit if you happen to be a white boy from a small Texas town who likes sports. If you're not, then please do yourself a huge favor and go to UT.
