Do not waste your money attending TTU. They count you absent even though you attend classes and flunk you. They do not know your name to a face. Waste of time and money. Got no help from advisors or where to get help. Don't join the band. It's the loneliest feeling when others are brown nosing the leaders to get ahead and you have no friends cos you're not important enough.

The common theme at Texas Tech is "... What do you want me to do about it?". I have had way too many problems at this institution that I could not properly resolve. Be careful with the faculty and staff. If someone has an issue with you they will find a way to get rid of you. The city and the school try and cover up the crime rate, but its really bad. Murders every week... The cartel also operates out of Lubbock. Poor quality environment and the school continued to attract poorly prepared students, so don't expect much from your peers!
