Texas Tech is an outstanding school! Other thanBrightCommunications
Texas Tech is an outstanding school! Other than being far from major cities in Texas (Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio) there are no negatives about this university. I would highly reccommend it to anyone who wants to get a great education, have a great social life, and enjoy the college experience!

Question
Texas Tech is awesome! I am a femaleBrightAgriculture/Horticulture
Texas Tech is awesome! I am a female student from the DFW area and have been at Tech for 2 years now. Overall, I can honestly say the Tech is one in a million. If you like small town values like friendly and genuine people, then Tech is a good match for you. I am in a sorority here, and have had a great experiance with it thus far. The guys here are very hott, and very outgoing & usually gentlemen. It is not uncommon to have guys open doors, and/or get out of seats for you if there are none left. The social scene here is a great balance between the Greek and NonGreek students. There is always something fun to do...PARTYS. It just depends how willing you as a person to go out and find it. Lubbock is a little dead as a town, but if you're a student here, you will quickly find that that doesn't matter. Another cool thing here is our Sports. The football, basketball, and baseball teams are all really good and fun to watch. When deciding where to go, I had it narrowed down to TECH, A&M, and TCU. I know I definatley made the right choice! GO RED RAIDERS!!

Question
After the last two years of collegiate academics,Quite BrightFinance
After the last two years of collegiate academics, I have learned only one thing about obtaining a college degree. It doesn't matter where you get your diploma! What matters is whom you have acquainted and what you have learned about life outside the books. Texas Tech turned out to be an ideal college for me because of the countless student-organized groups and extracurricular activities. Its hard to find a student on Tech's immaculate campus that isn't approachable. The night life isn't exactly comparable to that of Van Wilder, but there's always something to do. And any guy with two good eyes who has taken the long walk from University Ave. all the way to the Business/Administration building can vouch for the unbelievale woman that somehow flock to Lubbock every fall. Anyway, Tech has an enticing atmosphere that students of any origin or academic direction would appreciate. I strongly recommend to anyone interested in becoming part of an evolved and rapidly growing tradition not to overlook Texas Tech next fall. GO TECH!!!
