Tech was awesome.Super BrilliantEconomics
Tech was awesome. I loved it so much. As a foreign exchange student from Kyrgyzstan I loved Texas. All the cowboys came down and took me on a cattle drive through the bluebonnets. We had a hoe down in a barn and drank some moonshine. Couldnt love it more. The Cowboy culture is great. I love my boots. The US of A is wonderful

Question
I am majoring in petroleum engineering.Quite BrightEngineering Department
I am majoring in petroleum engineering. I have had a very bad expierience with Texas Tech over my first year(I am now transferring to Texas A&M after this year). To start off, on my first day i got a parking ticket. I was literally moving boxes into my dorm and i go outside to my truck and i have a ticket. 2nd day i received another ticket, this time my entire lot was full so i had to park along the curb(not my fault). There is not nearly enough parking, while i paid $200 for the permit. the dorms are small, and the restrooms are dirty and nasty within 1-2 hours of being cleaned. my first semester i had 6 classes. 5 of them were graduate students, and 4 of them i couldn't understand because of their extreme middle eastern accent. Students have no respect for anything. This school is very corrupt. ($84 million spent on rennovations for the stadium, while my dorm literally looks like they got some random sheetrock and nailed it together). Im just rambling on, but dont go here if you dont have to. period.
