This place offers tremendous value, and you getSuper BrilliantAccounting
This place offers tremendous value, and you get out of it what you put in. Opportunities to extend your skills further than the classroom abound, and professors are generally very willing to spend time with you. They have excellent programs and resources, as well as limitless opportunities to expand your horizons in extracurricular activities.

A&M is a great school to go to. Everyone is very friendly. A common occurence, seen especially during the first week of school, are upper classmen helping freshman (and transfers) find their classes - and not just telling them where to go but walking them there. All of my professors and TA's have spoken english, though I do know people whose TA's haven't spoken that great of english. The profs here are ultra friendly and will help you any way possible (you do have to ask), many give out their cell phone numbers and home phone numbers. Though it is one of the biggest schools in the US it doesn't feel large if you take advantage of SI's (small, free, study sessions offered several times a week for many classes),get involved in the a couple of the hundreds of student organizations, and communicate with your profs. The one thing about A&M that could be a turn off is it is a very conservative school. I wouldn't come here if I had liberal views.

Question
Texas A&M never impressedQuite BrightChemical Engineering
Texas A&M never impressed me. The people are close-mined and Republican crazy. People always have a Bush/Cheney sticker on their trucks. It was not the school for me, but I got the education I needed out of it.
