Texas A&M is a great university.Quite BrightGeography and Geosciences
Texas A&M is a great university. Its academics are great, our athletics are on the rise, and the atmosphere is outstanding. If you like friendly people and tradition like nowhere else, come to Aggieland. I love it here, and am very sad that I'll be having to leave come this may (to graduate!) WHOOP!

Question
Here is the deal.Quite BrightArchitecture
Here is the deal. Texas A&M is a conservative college with many christian students who support our President - George W Bush. His father's library is located on campus. Please clue into this - CONSERVATIVE school. In fact Princeton Review ranked Texas A&M the most conservative school in the country. Do some research before picking a college please. If you don't like it go elsewhere. There is a school for everyone and if these values do not fit you go elsewhere. Stop complaining and saying it "fit the stereotype." Obviously you heard of the stereotype before you went to Texas A&M so believe it and go elsewhere. It is what it is and many people love it, myself included. I went to school at Texas A&M because I fit the "stereotype" and wanted to be part of something I thought was special. If you disagree that is fine. GO ELSEWHERE. Why do people complain about walking into exactly what they thought they were walking into. No offense - go elsewhere.

Question
I attended A&M for my undergraduate career andQuite BrightEngineering Department
I attended A&M for my undergraduate career and I didn’t think much of it. But that all changed. After graduation I moved to CA for a job and eventually decided to go back to school. Man, I never knew how good I had it!! After attending a CA state school, about the same size and similar in academic regards to A&M, I realized just how great A&M was, and just how much I missed it. The university ran like a well oiled machine and the people are friendly enthusiastic and outgoing. Much different here. At this CA state school, every student hates school, hates the school, and takes no pride in anything. Sadly all CA schools are the same way, too. Sure A&M has a ton of conservatives, but I would take that any day over a 6-8 week wait on a transcript. A&M might be secluded, or in it's own little world with strange traditions, but until you have a horrible school to compare it too, you just don’t know how spoiled you are. Do yourself a favor and attend.
