Question
Texas A&M is one of the most conservativeBrightFinance
Texas A&M is one of the most conservative and spirited school in the nation. The academics here are challenging if you want to graduate the top of your class. The people that goes here are typically close-mined and not very welcoming to minorities due to the fact that most people attend school here are raised in small Texas towns. Spending a whole year here made me realize that ignorance and racism are still very apparent on this campus. That's something I didn't not expect being raised in Kingwood, Texas most of my life. The great things about A&M are the spirit of the aggieland. I love the football, soccer and basketball games here. No matter if we are losing or winning , aggies are always there yelling for their school. There are plenty of student organization here which you can make plenty of friends. If happend to be a minority, it would probably be the best that you attend other schools no matter how Americalized you think you are or the environment you grew up in. Whatever you do, do not let some individuals get inside of your head or put you down! Welcome to the real world!

Question
If I had to do it all overPsychology
If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. I chose A&M over ut because of the togetherness of the campus. I was a student when Bonfire fell and I have never felt so close, to so many people, I didn't know. The campus came together in the worst of times. THAT is what I remember about A&M. The football games, Muster, Bonfire (if you are class of 02", the first and last), and trying to figure out which professors to take and which to run from. I have to say, I found most of my classes challenging but not hard if you did the work. But for me, college was more about the experience then the classes. When I graduated, I worked for 2 years and now I am back in school pursing a higher degree. It is because of my experience at A&M that has opened many doors for me. A little side note: I would have been 5th generation Longhorn, but I broke the family tradition and there is not a day that I wouldn't do it again. College is what you make of it.
