I really feel as though Johnson & Wales University is a great Career-Focused school. Many students at the university have the mindset of a child, but those who work hard will suceed!! There is a world of opportunity at this school, but many of the students are not ambitious enough to find them. Those who constantly complain are the lazy students who expect mom, dad, or the school to continue to hold their hand. When entering college, one is expected to conduct him/herself in a mature, adult manner. This is not a common trend found among the majority of the students, but there are a number of students who work extremely hard and do very well at J&W. Try joining a student organization, fraternity, sorority, sport, etc. I will admit that there is not much campus unity, and to fix that, take things into your own hands and make YOURSELF have the ultimate college experience. There are so many great things that students can be a part of... STOP sitting around complaining and DO SOMETHING!

all any of the kids do is smoke and have sex with anyone that is available especially in snowden. The seventh floor is the worst everyone on that floor will do anything with anyone.

Question
I did not attend the RI Johnson andQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
I did not attend the RI Johnson and Wales, I attended the DENVER campus. Johnson & Wales in my opinion is NOT a very good school for the majority. It was not the school for me and up to this day (a year and a half later) I am still trying to get my life back on track after attending JWU. I made the mistake of getting the JOHNSON & WALES ACHIEVEMENT LOAN @ 8.0$% interest which I have been paying back since 6 months after leaving the school, among $7000 in other loans that I accrued in my short FIVE MONTHS at JWU. PLEASE DO NOT BE LURED INTO BELIEVING THAT JWU IS A PRESTIGIOUS AND ACEDICALLY RIGOROUS school like I did when I first did my campus tour. JWU is a school that likes to POSE as presitious and academically challenging, BUT what you really have at JWU is a nice Culinary School and a SNOTTY group of business students from rich families that think they are at STANFORD. FACULTY is SOMEWHAT helpful, somewhat UN-PROFESSIONAL aswell(an airline attendant is my English teacher?!!). ALSO, unless you are culinary the academics here are BLAND, UNCREATIVE, and CLICHE'. Overall, JWU is a RIP-OFF when it comes to education, IF YOU COME HERE AND DECIDE TO LEAVE-YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS TRANSFERING YOUR CREDITS TO A NORMAL UNIVERSITY!!!! Trust me, there are better schools out there for YOU BUSINESS & HOSPITALITY students, don't be lured into the first school you visit like I was. Good luck!!
