Majoring in International Business.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Majoring in International Business. I've learned a ton and the professors have been great. The homework is manageable and I've had plenty of opportunities for internships that I have taken full advantage of that has help during my time here. We also have guest speakers come in from different industries and some of the courses are taught by industry professionals where I've been able to create some good relationships with these professors that have help me in my internship placement.Regarding the campus, the students and faculty here are friendly and helpful and the campus is in downtown Providence. There are tons of stuff to do on the weekends since the university is right down the street from several shopping areas, clubs, and restaurants. I'm finishing up this year and plan on staying here for my MBA. I'd recommend JWU to anyone.

Question
I'm attending JWU as an Accounting major andQuite BrightAccounting
I'm attending JWU as an Accounting major and I love it here. I'm learning quite a bit and the workload is manageable. You get plenty of homework and have a project in almosg every course, but, the workload is manageable. The academic year is broken down into three 11 week terms from Fall to Spring and another 11 week term in the Summer, so, you can take 4 or 5 classes each term and finish your degree sooner. The college of business here is great and the accounting curriculum is different from other schools. They offer many more interesting accounting courses than some of the other surrounding universities. They are not as expensive as some of the other local universities and JWU is located right in downtown Providence, RI. The professors are helpful, approachable, and are willing to help whenever needed and the student academic services department is fantastic and help out the students immensly when needed, I plan on continuing on here to work on my MBA in Internation Trade and would recommend this university to anyone.
