University of Pittsburgh is an amazing school to get an education and work experience. Your end goal is to get a job after college, and you prefer getting a job in a field that you like. This school gives you all the resources to be successful, so PLEASE take advantage of the internship guarantee program, the Fall and Spring career fairs, and the tons of research opportunities. Don't sit around and just focus on schoolwork. Companies hire you for your work experience, not your A grades.

It's one of the best schools for health sciences, amongst other fields. I have had some great experiences and some bad ones. Definitely do not go into things thinking it's going to be easy and be prepared to have bad professors. You'll get some great ones, but you'll get some that will be so bad that you think about switching majors or dropping the class. Overall it's a good university and you'll make great friends, jut don't take on too much at once.

My time at the University of Pittsburgh has been the biggest waste of my life. The classes are horrendously boring and everyone is awful. Every building on campus smells like road kill and feces. Everyone tries so hard to be preppy and there are no hipsters anywhere. If you're someone with good fashion taste, DON'T go here!! My professors were horrible people who deserve to rot in hell. Every other student I encountered was ugly, and there's onions in all of the campus food!
