Do not come in as undeclared.Quite BrightPsychology
Do not come in as undeclared. They are no help in helping you decide on a good major. When you do find a major you're interested in the counseling faculty of that major acts as though you are bothering them by asking them questions about the major. They are not helpful in speaking to you and telling you what is needed, they just point you to a website with information and do not try to explain anything to you. I have a sociology minor and it's the same way with their department. I thought it was just the college of liberal arts, but I have friends in the college of education and they feel the same way. The advisors do not try to help you pick proper classes so you can graduate on time. They want you to stay as long as possible to pay the ridiculous tuition that the education you're receiving is not even worth. If I knew before I entered what I know now, I would've went to Penn.

Question
I came to Temple University from Japan andAveragePsychology
I came to Temple University from Japan and I really like it here. I met many transfer students also and they were really open. The campus is big. There are parties going on at night but you just have to find the right one. The school is very diverse and there is a lot to do here.

It can be scary at night, so only walk the streets that are lit up. I see Temple Police on every corner i go, and the security guards in the booths also make you feel safe. The course work is overall challenging. Many students spend their time in the Tech Center to do their homework.

Question
I come from a suburban area in NewQuite BrightUndecided
I come from a suburban area in New Jersey. In high school I guess I was seen as the "artsy" type. I partied in high school. I did not want to come to Temple at ALL but due to financial reasons, this is where I ended up. I hate this school. To start, there are so many IDIOTS that go here because it is a state school with a high acceptance rate. The majority of the student body seems completely unfriendly and I've heard many other people say that it is difficult to meet people especially if you don't within the first week. The faculty here (excluding some teachers) are the rudest people I have ever encountered. Everyone that works here acts like you are bothering them when asking them a simple question. It creates a poor atmosphere for the school. The parties here suck despite the reputation it has for being a great party school.

On a positive note I think that the campus is really cool and the food isn't bad. The football games are fun if you are into that kind of thing.

In the time that I've been here there have been two shootings on Broad street (very close to my residence hall)but overall this school was a horribly choice for me and if you aren't an insane partier or a jock DON'T COME HERE. Also DO NOT come here if you care about having IDIOTS in your classes. NORTH PHILLY SUCKS. Don't come to this school it sucks a shitload you'll be much happier somewhere else.
