The four years I spent at Temple were the best of my life. I enjoyed nearly everything about the university as well as the city of Philadelphia. While some may have concerns about the surrounding area, my advice is that as long as your are smart about your decisions, you will be perfectly fine. The basketball games are a lot of fun and football is on the rise.I graduated in a terrible economy and had a great job with a Fortune 10 company lined up so I was able to relax Senior Year. The Business School really polishes you.

Question
Despite what everyone says about the surrounding area,Quite Bright
Despite what everyone says about the surrounding area, Temple is not that bad at all. I walk home from rehearsal at 11pm some nights and I feel comfortable. If you live a little farther off campus in a house, then yeah it is a little dangerous but just be weary of your surroundings. The Theatre department here is wonderful. Helpful, collaborative, friendly, and there are so many opportunities to work and learn. No it's not the top theatre school in the country but the Professors here are out of this world. I have not had a Professor in the theatre department that I did not like and after speaking to everyone else, they can say the same.

Question
DO NOT go here if you need toQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
DO NOT go here if you need to take student loans out. The financial aid office is horrific. I have been trying to get my financial aid applied for 2months now. I have mailed my forms, faxed them, and sent and email with scanned copies twice and still no luck. The only responses I get to my emails are "Your bill is past due." I have tried calling them, but there is not enough time in the day to get through. The average wait time to talk to a person is 54 minutes. That is if you don't get hung up on 20minutes into the phone conversation. (I have been hung up on 3 times). The only time I managed to speak to someone, they said my paperwork is fine and my loans will be applied. I have "no reason to worry." That was 1.5 months ago and still nothing. Every person I talked to has had the same problems. There are even YouTube videos of students getting hung up on!Seriously don't go here unless you are paying cash!!!
