I am currently a LaSalle student and iBrightCommunications
I am currently a LaSalle student and i must say that my overall experience has been very good. As stated in previous reviews, this is not a school for anyone. If you are looking for an urban campus, medium sized student population, small class sizes, and a supportive faculty this is the right place for you. I have learned that LaSalle is a school that is everything you make of it. If you choose to reach out and involve yourself in activities and coursework you will enjoy your time here. If you choose to sit around and not take advantage of the programs and resources available to you then you will have wasted your four years and your money. This is a school for opportunists who are serious about their schoolwork, but at the sametime know how to have a good time( parties aren't half bad). I reccomend this school highly. Oh yeah, St. Joe's is overrated.

Question
If you like the Catholic school environment andQuite BrightPsychology
If you like the Catholic school environment and lots of parties, it's for you. If you're anything close to openminded or fun-loving, stay away! Very white-Catholic-male oriented. Some reports of racism/homophobia printed weekly in the Collegian, the campus paper. The faculty here is pretty decent, but they're not as hyper-concerned as open houses make them out to be. The students are half and half - lots of partiers, frats, sororities.. lots of rich-little-white-kids.. but it's not all bad. The campus is alright, but in a really bad surrounding neighborhood.. Philadelphia itself it great, but you're need to take a car or the subway to get down there. The food is definitely not the best at the cafeteria, but there are some other on-campus options that are a little bit better. There's definitely a lack of political awareness and activism, and the type of extracurriculars really ought to be expanded upon. It personally isn't the place for diverse-high-school bred me, but I assume if you liked Catholic/private school in the past, or are at least used to it, go for it.
