I am much happier than any of myBrightUndecided
I am much happier than any of my friends who don't go to Rutgers. Choosing Rutgers was one of the best choices I've made. There is something for everyone at Rutgers. There is such a strong sense of community within such a large school, especially if you get involved in just one of the many activities. Every night of the week there are parties and other things to do. Even for people who don't party there are many activities offered in the students centers and through athletics, it is hard to be bored. The work is challenging but as long as you reach out the professors are very helpful. Between the teachers and th TA's in my two lecture halls I never have an unanswered question. There certainly is no hand holding though, you are responsible for yourself and what you do. Most of the big lecture halls don't take attendance or have i clickers so it's up to you to go to class. The city is very clean. Although there are sketchy stories about crime, as long as you have somewhat common sense and stay out of stupid situations, you'll be fine. The cook/douglass campus is very natural and scenic, and the college ave campus gives the cosmopolitan feeling of a city in a clean neighborhood with a strong sense of school spirit. I don't know any of my friends who've regretted coming to Rutgers, everyone who comes to visit wants to transfer. Everyone is so chilll, just looking to have fun but also does their work.

Ivy league education for public school price. Very competitive. Great job placement. Crappy campus. Decent night life.

Question
Its my first semester at rutgers and iBrightBiology
Its my first semester at rutgers and i must say, i was extremely excited till after a months stay here. All i have to say is that i'm transferring! This place is ridiculous. You make 5 minute friends and never see them again. Getting around becomes simple even though the campus is huge. However, most faculty here don't give a crap about you. They make the most easiest thing complicated. Basically everything here is dependent on a curve in terms of academics. There are way better colleges and universities than rutgers.
