A good school and though I knew aBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
A good school and though I knew a few people coming in, I have met a lot more kids and most of them have become my friends.

The classes are tougher than I would have thought, but in the end that will probably be beneficial.
The school spirit is pretty high but is obviously centered around football. After football season very few people care about the other sports, which kind of sucks if you are a basketball or baseball fan.Either way this is a good school and I feel like I am definitely getting a good education.

Horrible experience.Quite BrightPreVet and Veterinary
Horrible experience. The staff admissions, financial aid, professors are awful, you're pretty much on your own for figuring everything out and THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE AND STAFF ARE THE MOST UNHELPFUL AND ARROGANT PEOPLE, it took too much effort to just get a few simple questions answered. The professors were distant and self-absorbed and more into their research than teaching, a lot of people in my classes were doing horrible. The dorms were clean and was probably the only decent experience about the school, except I got somehow stuck in the international dorms so I was surrounded by no one I could relate to. Lots of frats and sororities, stupid kids who just want to go bar hopping and are concerned with husker football.I quickly transfered out of there, waste of $15,000 for one semester.

Question
If I had to do it over againCriminal
If I had to do it over again I would not major in Criminal Justice. A cop told me back in college to major in something else, but I blew him off. If you want to work in Law Enforcement it may help you to have a college degree, but your major doesn't matter to anyone. I really didn't learn a single thing in CJ. Major in something that interests you, like Spanish or English. That way if law enforcement doesn't work out for you, there is always something to fall back on. Besides, CJ is very subjective even though they use the term 'social science'. So your professor's opinion will be peppered throughout the lecture. If you are really interested in law enforcement study Spanish and accounting. Beyond those two majors nothing you learn in college will carry over. Real world experience is what you need, and this can't be taught in any college.
