I love Bates!!! The people here are superQuite Bright
I love Bates!!! The people here are super freindly, and really easy to talk to. It is easy and encouraged to get involved in community service and sports. As an education minor i was able to get into a classroom in my FIRST SEMESTER! Bates is great and I recomend it to anyone who is looking for a great, fun college.

Question
I could'nt have asked for a better 4BrightBiology
I could'nt have asked for a better 4 years of college. The campus is beautiful, the people are friendly and usually very open and accepting, there is a ton to be involved in (so much that you couldn't get to everything in your 4 years)... And I really feel like I have learned how to think from Bates. Sure, you learn class material, study to do well on exams - but somehow over 4 years here you learn how to approach problems or issues - it improves your ability to think critically and greatly opened my mind to a lot of new things and prespectives I certainly didnt have coming in as a first year... I am thankful for my Bates experience in probably every way possible.

The experience i had at bates was fantastic.History/Histories (art history/etc.)
The experience i had at bates was fantastic. in fact, i missed college very much upon graduation. the campus is friendly, the professors make themselves available to students and the academics are top notch. in retrospect, i would do very few things differently. i still stay in close contact with friends i made in lewiston and i even met my spouse at bates! i am happy i made it my college choice.
