Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Brandeis university is the worst university EVER.Quite Bright
Brandeis university is the worst university EVER. I advise all the BLACK people do not come to this campus. This school is the most racist school that I have ever encountered. Everyday black students experience racism at this campus and the staff members do not care. They will treat you like crap. My freshman year I experienced racism with my roommate for six months straight and DCL did not do anything. Its when the white girl said something that dcl decided to care. I will tell you this DCL is the WORST. I repeat the WORST department on campus. They do not care about students at all. In my second year, I was nineteen years old and they put me with a twenty-six year old. How do you put a teenager with a grown women. It was horrible. There is an area coordinator known as Zari Havercome. She is the worst. When I tried to make a complaint about my roommate she used profanity on me. Very unprofessional. The police officers there are so racist as well. I was falsely arrested and when I was calling my mom, a white officer said "tell them niggers to shut the F...K up" It is ridiculous. They treat the black kids on campus like garbage and no staff member will do anything about it. The dorms are horrible. They are so cramped and old. Like how are you a private school and your rooms are that small and old. The food is disgusting. Its the same salty, dry food that people pay over $2,000 for. Whats worse is that they charge students meal plan even when they have a kitchen. If you live in Charles river, they would force you to get the 120 block meal plan. That makes no sense because why are you giving me 120 meals when the food sucks. The sports is trash. There is no team spirit in the school and there is racism in the sports as well. Also, they do not promote black clubs. When you go to the CCC, they would promote all the white, Jewish, and asian clubs but never black ones. You would only know about the black clubs through black students. This school is so bad that so many students have transferred. People would only say that they stay because of the financial aid they get and the people they meet. If it was not for my full scholarship, I would have been left this school. Also, the social life is terrible. Most of the students are arrogant rich white kids who believe that black students are not smart enough to go to Brandeis. People are rude and they are not open to being friendly. No parties. Do not come to Brandeis, its a waste of time. especially the black students. I beg you to not come here. The only thing good about Brandeis is the academics.

Question
Brandeis University is a place that has brilliantQuite BrightPsychology
Brandeis University is a place that has brilliant professors. Unfortunately, that is the only good thing about it. The housing is really bad.. and I don't know how to stress this enough. DCL doesn't care about the students at all, and is overstaffed and overpriced. The only thing worse than the administration is the food. You have to pay thousands of dollars for a meal plan with limited options and only 3 meal swipes a day at fixed timings. The meal plan is compulsory and highly frustrating. It makes things very difficult for students, especially those with dietary restrictions. Also, the timings of the dining places open are often wrong online to make it look like they are open for longer than they are. I've found insects in my food three times, and gone to bed hungry more times than I can count because I can't use one meal swipe at 5 pm and another at 10pm. Sodexo does not answer inquiry emails because no one on this campus cares about the students. Honestly, it would be okay if the housing and food was bad but the cost was extremely low. But you're paying the exact same amount, or even slightly more than people pay to live in the middle of New York City (NYU housing) to live in the middle of nowhere with rundown buildings and rude staff. And you could order a kick ass takeout by paying the exact same amount for the terrible food they serve in the dining halls. Where the hell is my money going??? Not to improve the resources on campus, that's for sure. The housing is terrible, the food is bad, the administration is rude and unresponsive, the extra- curricular activities are limited, there's a shortage of study space during every midterm season ever, there's generally nothing fun to do on the weekends, and no one seems to care about you. This semester, they shut down the convenience store early during FINALS WEEK. Lol. The tours really delude you. So unless you're on full scholarship, my advice would be- don't go to Brandeis. And don't listen to the tour guides because they're reading from a script that doesn't exist. Instead, go to community college and go to an even better place for your post grad. I really wish I had.

Question
I have to make this short because ofMusic - Composition/Theory
I have to make this short because of time:
Brandies is a great institution. Excellent academics and student to teacher ratio... Brilliant, engaging, challenging, and caring professors. Great music/arts environment. Boston is a fine city and has some of the best musical venues and Arts scenes. (Great food too!). The 'T' metro subway system is good. It is not as large as New York City's..but it is clean and safe, and it is say to get around. I still miss taking the Red line home and, at that part of the track route, it was above ground, an you could see a fantastic view of the Charles river and the city. I'm currently a professor at the research I university. Brandies was a great experience! But it take A LOT of work, so be ready.
