Positive Negative Neutral Advice
SLU is a great university with a terrificQuite BrightPreLaw and Legal
SLU is a great university with a terrific staff. My biggest concern is with the financial aid office; it's like a bunch of animals working with computers. SLU is the only university in the STATE that provides a rental book program so you don't have to spend hundreds on books you'll use one semester. I'm so SURPRISED that all the negative comments "forgot" to add that! Everything event related at the school is paid through your tuition including the shuttle bus service (they forgot that too) that rides in and out of the school. I belong to three honor societies (Gamma Beta Phi, Sigma Alpha Lambda and the National Honor Leadership and Success) so there's a lot of extracurricular groups (like Italian Club). I love this school and seeing slandering libelous comments is just unbelievable.

Question
The biology department at SLU really teaches youBiology
The biology department at SLU really teaches you what you need to know to be successful in the field. The university itself is full of standard administrative nonsense, but the department itself is incredibly supportive and shields their students from that to the best of their abilities.

The research quality is top notch and the faculty are down to Earth and willing to help where they can. Despite inherent drama associated with any kind of work place, they all still manage to work and collaborate extensively and instill those important traits in their undergraduate and graduate students. The school may not have a huge name, but what you learn there will make you stand out amongst your peers in the field of Biology regardless of school name!

Question
Its a small andBrightComputer Science
Its a small and friendly university but a perfect place to complete your degree in quick time. The only lagging factor would be no engineering majors but then there are other tech. majors like engg. tech. and industrial tech. that are good. Its a better university than its been perceived as.
