This university is a joke.BrightAccounting
This university is a joke. Outdated information is all they teach. Teachers act like they have degrees from Yale. The accpunting department head needs a new job where sitting on your butt is the key to success. Spent four years here and had a job before graduation, I quickly realized nothing I had learned helped me with my job. The professors for accounting are all ex failures at their jobs who came here to teach what they couldnt do before. They treat their students like elementary kids, might as well have had a time out corner. Biggest waste of four years and money. Thank god TOPS paid for this wate. School is a waste of tax dollars.

Everyone has their opinion about their preference ofAverageEnglish
Everyone has their opinion about their preference of a university, and Southeastern is no exception.

If you like a quiet college where everyone basically goes home on the weekends, stays in their dorms, and hangs out with friends from high school...actually, if you want to feel like you never left high school, this is the place for you.

Southeastern is the place to be if you want to try the techniques of sitting alone in the cafeteria and having someone sit with you randomly...and fail at it.

Here at southeastern, dorm doors are never open, as the buildings are designed like a cheap motel, all leading to a balcony. The balcony is great for views if you're on the fourth floor, but horrible as all doors close by themselves and no one is allowed to prop the doors open...ever.

RA's don't seem to do much to get first time freshman involved, as there isn't anything to do!
Academic wise, my only negative would be how horrible the math classes are...you teach yourself in a lab. Socially, please save your money and go to LSU or Southern.
