I graduated from SLU in 2008 with BachelorQuite BrightNursing
I graduated from SLU in 2008 with Bachelor in Biology. The professors were for the most part excellent. The education was good quality. My issue is with the rest of SLU's staff. I have consistently had trouble getting records to get my transcripts sent out. I request transcripts 4 and 5 times in a month and they say they have no record of receiving anything. I have had several deadlines almost missed because SLU. When you call to speak to anyone at SLU on the staff that isn't a professor they seem pissed off that you disturbed them when it is their job. It's just insane. I paid some of their salary as a student and will again if I continue with nursing school there and I am disturbing them by needing my records or need some information.

Question
I'm a music major getting ready to graduate.Quite BrightMusic - Performance
I'm a music major getting ready to graduate. Music department is superior but Financial aid offices, UPD, and the maintenance staff are not the best. Financial aid office would probably be better off ran by monkeys. UPD are not helpful at all. Most are arrogant and does not care about anyone at all and plot how they can make everyone's life miserable. And maintenance and physical plant never fully fixes anything and is acceptable to them if it's 45?F or 90?F in the building. Of the four year being there, I don't ever remember having all lights working in the band room. Always half lit. I now regret even coming here mainly because the struggle I have to go through with financial aid to get anything accomplished.

Question
Pay attention closely.BrightBiology
Pay attention closely. If there is even a slight chance that you can get out of this place. Go, move to Mexico. The views are better and you have a better chance of adapting to the Mexican lifestyle and learning a new language than you have of convincing student workers that they have pointless jobs. SLU is an cavalcade of ignorant people/staff. I couldn't agree more when others said that it is just like high school. If you don't have a big truck or speakers in your car to annoy the shit out of people trying to get an education. The staff has given me the most problems though. All I want to do is get in, get out, and graduate but they make it near impossible. The financial aid office is the worst. The student workers are ignorant. Never have a dealt with such stupidity. If I wanted idiots to handle my finances I would hire a former AIG employee to do so. Needless to say it's only my freshman year but I won't be there long. There is a reason they had such huge budget cuts. Maybe if you spend money on useful things instead of plasma TVs in the cafeteria so fat kids have a reason to eat and skip class we wouldn't have problems such as this.
