Question
I graduated with an Associate's Degree in NursingQuite BrightNursing
I graduated with an Associate's Degree in Nursing in 1991 and chose GSU to complete my BSN (2011), and am now enrolled in the MSN program at GSU. I decided to attend GSU because of the competitive tuition costs. What I found was very helpful and attentive staff and faculty, a cirriculum that was challenging but not impossible, and information that is completely relevant to my career. The financial aid department has been a little disappointing because of disorganization, but not more than other universities.

Overall, I am very happy with my experience at GSU. Recent trends in healthcare demand that nurses obtain a BSN to work in hospitals. Some of my fellow students were there just to get a BSN and weren't motivated to challenge themselves. Other students (like myself) were there to expand my knowledge base and further my career. Opportunities exist to excel, but you have to look for them. Basically, you get out of GSU what you put into it.The MSN program is excellent so far. The faculty are health care professionals who actually work in the field. They have a lot to offer, and have learned a lot from them. I'm certain this will absolutely advance my career.
