Question
The University of Florida offers the complete collegeQuite BrightEducation
The University of Florida offers the complete college experience to anyone willing to work. As with any university, there are easy majors and weak professors, but there are also some of the finest professors anywhere. The town also offers a wide array of cultural opportunities. UF has gotten too big in recent years, but it remains one of the best college values in the country.

Question
The University of Florida is big.BrightOther
The University of Florida is big. Very big. There are students everywhere you look, wherever you are. You would think that with such a large student population, there would be some diversity in how many people look and act, but I haven't found this to be the case. The student body is overall homogenous- frat/sorority girls who all look the same and act the same and are obsessed with the alright football program. Anything fun-related HAS to be alcohol-related... it's as if you can't have fun if there isn't some type of fermented beverage involved. A lot of people are close minded and come from smaller towns and cities in Florida. The actual city of Gainesville is... pathetic. There wouldn't be a city if the university wasn't in town. There are only two things to do and that is go to a "club" or go to a bar. It all gets boring fast and I can't imagine spending 4 years of your life here... choose another school with more life and "oomph" to it.
