UF provides students the opportunity to study alongsidePsychology
UF provides students the opportunity to study alongside and learn from renown scholars while simultaneously providing a unique and stimulating campus life that affords many opportunities for success. Cost of education is very low compared to the quality of education (especially since nearly every student is on scholarship). as a recent graduate i am more than satisfied with this university. go gators!

Question
I thought at first this would be theBright
I thought at first this would be the best college for me, since there was a lot of hype about the school. I have all my classes and book paid for in addition to free boarding. I was disappointed that I didn't get the attention I needed and support that I'm entitled too. I was assured that being African American that I would be given additional resources to succeed in this school. I don't like the fact that I'm in classes full of students and there is no professor. I am just sitting there watching a recorded video from last year. I wanted a degree in political science from a prestigious college so that one day I can be a senator. However I haven't learned anything that I can't get for free from a library. This college is a joke and I think they need to recruit more Asian women too. At least I would have something to do.

Question
In high school UF was built up soQuite BrightMath
In high school UF was built up so strongly like it was the best place in the world. It most certainly is not. If you take classes that are big, then you will never even meet the professor, much less get a question answered. If the class is less than 100 people then you will probably have a TA, who probably has very little teaching experience.

UF is so big that you will probably not have more than one class with the same person, making it very hard to meet new people. there is no social hierarchy like high school except that fraternities and sororities hav all of the fun. if you do not join a frat, which costs quite a bit of money and u dont usually even stay in the house, then you probably wont start having fun untill junior or senior year.

If you are someone that is the life of the party and is very outgoing, then you will have some fun if you meet the rite people, or join a greek club. if you are at all timid or quiet and are waiting on an upper-classman to take ur hand and introduce you to the college life, then keep waiting because that doesnt happen.

wen you come to UF you are basically on your own and you end up getting so bored that you study all the time, which is kinda a good thing but not so much wen its all you ever do. i moved here from jacksonville expecting to be having fun and partying every weekend at the "number 1 party school", but im too poor and low class for a fraternity and all i do is study all week and drive home for the weekend.

and DO NOT get a meal plan of any kind!!
ALL MEAL PLANS AT UF ARE SCAMS!!!!u will end up payin for waaayy more food then u actually eat, and u can save some money by just paying cash wen u eat on campus.
