My experience at UFSuper BrilliantPsychology
My experience at UF was nothing short of amazing. Beautiful campus, challenging classes, great people, awesome parties, etc. Not to mention how high UF ranks within U.S. public schools. Go Gators!!!

Question
If you are looking to grow as aQuite BrightAnthropology
If you are looking to grow as a person at this university, look elsewhere. The hype of their academics stems from the hype of their football team and as someone who doesn't give a shit about football, its annoying to hear about Tim Tebow all the fucking time. Gainesville offers no diversity and is full of the reddest rednecks, the university is full of students that are closeminded who haven't set foot outside of Florida and only need to be a part of the Gator Nation to satisfy their pitiful fantasies. Maybe you can find a few down to earth people, but its hard, I tried. Don't get caught up in rankings, go to a school that you will enjoy and find the most inner fulfillment out of, not because it looks good or because the gators are number one. If that is your aim, then you can pretty much aim for settling down after UF and leading a boring, predictable life. Diversity does not fully encompass the number of minorities on campus. It should be more than that, more kids from different backgrounds and philosophies that you can talk to and relate to. A florida native is a florida native- it doesn't matter if he/she is rainbow colored, you will encounter the same childish attitudes everywhere as you did in high school; this is the 13th grade with no relation to a global perspective whatsoever. I hated every minute of my time here and its been a waste of my life.

Question
UF SUCKS! I wish I had never attended.Quite BrightAthletics/Training
UF SUCKS! I wish I had never attended. The whole town has no life of its own so it turns to UF. The front page of Gainesville Sun always has to do with UF. There was an article today about how one of the football players had a cold and missed practice. I'm dead serious. I absolutely love football, but seriously? There is nothing to do here. Professors are inaccessible and rarely teach. Classes are HUGE!!!! REDNECKS RULE TO SCHOOL. Ugly old campus. School population is far too big with 50,000 students. The University handles this poorly, often not being able to get into desired classes and administration is not helpful at all. UF will lay off the best professors easily with no warning and pays the football coach $1 million/ yr, making him the 3rd (I think) highest paid college football coach. I WISH I WOULD HAVE WENT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI!!!! I have friends there who absolutely love it and it sounds amazing. Even one of our basketball stars is transferring there. His UF coach told him he should spend more time focusing on his game and less time on the books. Guess What? He is The SEC Scholar Athlete of the year. I'm gonna try to transfer to UMiami, I don't care how much more it costs, or even the debt I'm gonna have, these are supposed to be the best years of your life and Miami sounds like the full college experience while UF is not.
