I hate how everything is about image here.Quite BrightArt & Design Department
I hate how everything is about image here. They are more concerned with the fact that you "look good" than they are of your relationship with God. I've heard ten times as many more lectures on how we should be dressing our best and not doing anything "worldly" than I've heard sermons on how we should be having a daily quiet time. Shouldn't having our own personal time with God everyday be more important than whether or not we're wearing hose on Sunday?? My Bible says so. The most stressed thing here is our appearance and how the public eye sees us. (And sucking up to the parents). Sure, the campus is absolutely gorgeous and the people are always looking their best, but...why would any of that matter if it wasn't true to say the same thing for the inside?

And they try so hard to keep us from worldliness...which is near impossible. Just because they can take the rock music and the jeans away, doesn't mean it takes the person's rebellious attitude away. Why do you think there are still so many students getting in trouble or even getting kicked out? It won't ever stop. Because you can't internally change something by starting on the outside. You have to reach in to the foundation, to someone's heart and where they are standing with God, and work your way out. It's simple common sense. That's where pcc has it backwards. That's why "keeping a good testimony" isn't enough. There needs to be a scriptural motivation to back up your actions - not just because you were simply following the rules.

Five years from now, when I share my college memories with friends, I think I'll have more stories about what rules I got away with, then I will about how much spiritual growth I had.

Question
PCC is a Christian college, they require youAverageNursing
PCC is a Christian college, they require you to attend their church for three services a week, and chapel services four times a week. Not at all bad, but can get a little redundant at times. The faculty really do care but not really about the individual but more about how they look to others, basically out to get you to come so they can get more money to import palm trees from Egypt because Florida's aren't that great. The nursing progam is very competitive the first year and has you in a clinical setting by you sophomore year. You will feel very prepared for life after graduation.
